Garbage like this takes all the fun out of the challenge from unlocking things.

Guess the community cried that some things were too hard or required effort.
That or they feel that they know the gaming community often opt for the easy route and will pay to win. So why not monopolise it.

To be fair - for those of us who don't wanna spend hours (or days in some games) this is a welcome thing. Plus...we don't HAVE to buy it but if we want to we can.

Case in point for me is Forza Horizon 3/4 - I bought the treasure map day 1 in both games because for $3 bucks I wasn't going to say no to having the location of all the exp boards and items of interest. No point to wait on a guide a week or a month later when I could have it right then and to me $3 bucks was worth it for that.

For RE2 with this addon.....I'd rather have the challenge up until the point where I either 1. Don't care anymore and just want them. or 2. I get a few bucks for a birthday or whatever and snag it lol.

Otherwise I like the challenge (except in the Horizon games, those I want to know where the items are )
