Cant get Mach 2 Gt software to load in Vista

hi i just setup a new gt it runs very cool -45 at 4.0 , 4000hz dont want to tweak until i get the 1.24 control panel working, here is what ive done

1) i installed drivers 1.23 but wont run in vista

2) device manager says its installed without any problems,

3) bootloader 1.23 and 1.24 dont respond except to say USB error

4) usb cable is connected on the controller with white at position 1 on left

then on evga 680i A1 board, usb is in top usb with white in position1 on left

5) 1.23 cd installed fine , downloaded files from web 1.24 and bootloader and firmware but window doesnt see controller via usb

any ideas

am i the only one who is trying to install a gt on vista ?

seems the usb driver cant be found, even tried using the compatibility feature in vista

Unfortunately you aren't. There are many others with the same problem as you. It is because the software that you are installing was actually written quite some time before vista or even windows x64. So the main issue you are encountering is because of the driver. As of right now I am trying to contact the owners of the company who now distributes this Nventiv technology. The business switched owners multiple times and they were having some issues with getting the original source code of the software so it's hard running as of right now.
