Can't get decent temps on DFi SLi DR with mach II

Podman

I have a mach II modded with r507 gas, I have mounted the head and craddle a few times now and I can't get decent temps, I can't get lower than -10 on basic settings with my fx-55. Has anybody had any experiance with the mach II and the SLi DR ? Am I doing something wrong here ? If I put 1.8v cpu and load the system, the temps start to rise and get to 50deg c and teh sysetm shuts off (thats the shutdown temp I set). I;m getting very confused here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds like a leak mate can you hear any gas comming out anyware

That could be the case if you get temps like those on the LCD. If they are BIOS temps you need to get better contact mate. Take off the mounting bracket and cut off the 4 little legs, and the 2 slight stands around the screw holes. Also get a credit card and make sure the metal bolt plate is as flat as you can and jam bits of cut up credit card into the little holding mounts, to hold it in place.

Im getting the same thing..

Im gueesing its the DFI board..

Dunno im waiting for a replacement so im not gonna be stripping it anytime soon to find out.

t'would really be of use if someone would state whether these are CPU Core temps or Evaphead temps. If CPU Core temps, nothing to worry about... just miscalibrated sensors on the mobo as per usual.

Agreed, you can't help if you can't tell what the real problem is!

Well for me its the CPU Core temp as im reading it from BIOS.

I dont think that means u can trust it. Thermal probe.... only way

i think it would be useful to get some kind of sticky sorted 4 this.

evap temp : display from prommie display / software

cpu temp: cpu internal diode / bios temp /software temp (mbm)

What relates to what? eg where does mbm get its temp from?

i think the only way to get good readings is from an independent probe, right?!?
