does anyone know where I can get a 120mm holesaw?have tried varios B&q's,homebase and the local DIY shops

cheers mate, will have a look on ebay tonight, never thought of using ebay for tools before(doh!!)

I bought one of those originally, and they are a prize POS!!! It can cut through really thin material but is a right ballache to use.

I have a steel case and im trying to cut a hole for my 24pin connector. What would be best to cut that? So far ive been through 2 HSS bits, a titanium coated HHS bit, and tried using a cut off wheel on an angle grinder but its not working to well either.

You need a bi-metal hole saw to do a decent job.

For some reason 111mm bit rings a bell for the right size for 120mm fans, but i'm not sure on that. Was a while since I looked it up.

Although you'd need to get hold of a pretty big one, the one on the image is for holes from 6 to 20mm. ;) It used for metalplates and such. :)
