hey everyone

Im just finalizing my build and Im starting to get a tad worried because as some of you know I recently got myself a gtx 580 lighting and ive got it at 1080mhz, thing is I want to add another lightning to my rig. which will be heavily clocked aswell I have also been purchasing small goodies for the rebuild such as nzxt white leds and some noctua fans which Im going to dye a different colour. Just to make my post more clear heres my full rig at this current time

I7 950@ 4.2ghz 200x21 @ 1.32v (normal use)

asus rampage 3 extreme

1x heavily overclocked gtx 580 lightning

1x 460 hawk (stock) (will get replaced with the second lightning)

asus xonar stx

ocz vertex 2 60gb (I will be adding a vertex 3 120gb later on)

1 tb wd caviar black re3

pioneer bdr 205bk

2 noctua p14 flx fans

1x noctua 120 sb12 flx

noctua nhd14

corsair dominator gt 6gb 2000mhz c8

white nzxt leds

xigmatek led fans (the ones that come with the elysium

xigmatek elysium (still waiting for it)

I have a feeling I may need to upgrade to the ax1200 or is there a better 1200w psu out there? maybe enermax?

cheers guys

well if you keep it whit 1 gtx 580 you are more then fine as soon as your adding a 2 * gtx 580 i woad def go for a 1200 w psu

not worth the risk of blowing up full rig for 50 euros more ore somthing

If you only use all gpu power and low cpu or all cpu and low gpu then you should be fine. If you're running things that will max out demand from all those components then upgrade to the 1200w

I like to play nfs and pcsx2 sometimes on max settings, I go on the net, play some more nfs or dirt 3 only time when It will be stressed properly is when I overclock em I can even lower the cpu to 4ghz @.1.28v when the ambient temp is a little higher i dont do editing or Any thing like that I just like to play games maxxed out

850w will be okay then, but if you really want to upgrading won't hurt.
