recommend me a new power unit?

i currently have a FSP one, that XMS Reviewed here: http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews.php?type=3&id=72&page=1&desc=fsp_epsilon_700w_atx_psu

and look at my 12V rail

and to be honest, i do not want another FSP unit

i was looking at the Tagan 800W, but any suggestions?

i has a Hiper before this, but that failed, and broke on me

You checked that with a decent multi-meter? I suspect your bios is lying tbh.

If not open it up and look for some pots, jump start it and tweek till its correct.

I would definitely check the 12V with a meter first before you replace it.

What Hardware do you use?

as to a PS I just bought a Lian Li, I really like Silverstone, Corsair and have heard some good things about the Tagans

Probably the PSU, but that wouldn't surprise me in any way tbh

As others have said - check it with a multi-meter first. Those PSU's are very good - same internals as the OCZ GameXstream's

probably not, but there has to be a million places over there that sell similar ones.

I would definitely get a digital one (the analog version can be hard to read)
