Call of Duty: Black Ops

Looks good but considering I wasn't a massive fan of Treyarch's CoD5 I'm not sure if I'll be getting this. We shall see!
 
Yeah, agreed on the MW/MW2 part. :D Although, MW2's story was a little random, I had no idea what was going on half the time. Online play always wins me over though.

The graphics on the game look impressive as well. :D Smooth animation with motion blur. YUM! :X
 
pathetic imo, if they would perhaps take abit longer on games and try and produce something like cod2/mw then it might be goods news, its just a revamped mw2 with a few new guns...

It would have been 2 years since the last treyark COD when its release, same as it was 2 years between cod4 and mw2 and 2 years between cod 3 and world at war.

new game from the oposit developer every 12 months is what its been since COD3, tho i think infinity ward isnt making them any more if i remember right.
 
Loads of high ranking peoples have left Infinity Ward, and are suing them for hundreds of millions of dollars because they think they are owed them in royalties.

It looks good, but those graphics look heavy for 360/PS3. It will probably be out on PC, and look better too.
 
Activision owe the 2 heads of Inifity Ward $36m in royalties, theres sues, counter sues. 26 (iirc) have left IW now. The heads of IW made a new company called Respawn Entertainment which has partnered with EA.

Playing cod4 and mw2 i realy cant see any difference between pc/360/ps3, probably going to be the same with black ops if its on pc (like cod3 wasnt on pc but it was on everything else ps2/ps3/wii/xbox/xbox360.

Its only realy the games from smaller companys/old games that have bad graphics on consoles now as they have learnt what the consoles can handle and how to improve on what they can work with, have a look at the new halo reach beta video's on youtube, looks amazing, so much detail in the models
 
See I can instantly see the difference with PC and PS3/360. It looks better on my PC running it on full settings, from a DVI connection, through a converter, to a VGA connection on my crummy 20inch screen than it does on my mates HD 21 inch screen using an HDMI connection.

On the PC it looks more crisp, its less soft in many places. That;s what I think anyway :)
 
Well PC > consoles :p

I try buying most games for PC because there cheaper, but i bought MW2 for 360 so I could play with my mates.

traditionally treyarch cod games haven't been as good as the IW ones

Agreed, Treyarch developed COD5 enough said........
