One has to wonder if they designed this terrible connector with issues so they could blame end users and deny warranties and RMAs so they get a person who has no other choice but to buy another GPU

For all intents and purposes, they could have just made the connector as big as dual 8 pin connectors instead. That has been around for ages and works just fine.
Good to see a company stand by it's customers, A lot of companies in the PC space are becoming or already have become quite anti consumer.
WYP, Will you at some point cover the pretty bad behavior of Gigabyte refusing peoples RMA's based on shoddy build quality and the Gigabyte backdoor issue recently ?
Would be interesting getting a behind the scenes tech reviewers look at it.
