Cable Management

Hi All,

So I've decided I'm going to buy a NZXT 810 switch, but I'm really unsure about cable managament and how its done.

I undertsand that you must thread all the cables through the bottom of the case and back around to the components, so what I'm thinking is most cables will be to short right? So would I need to get adapters/extentions?

Is there a standard way of doing things? Please help?

Thanks

All your cables should reach, maybe not your CPU 8pin but they include an extension with the case.

Tom explains all you need to know about cable management in this vid, he is using extensions but only for looks not because they are needed but the way you do the cable management is the same with or without extensions. The only thing different with extensions is your cables will be longer so you have more cable to manage.

I watched it all, but this thing takes forever.

I'll try to sum it up for you.

1. PSU in

2. Connect the cables you need to you psu and the other end through the bottom hole and out another hole to connect other end.

3. Set the case on it's side (Make sure everything is secure so that nothing falls off)

4. Zip tie everything down the way you like it and don't be afraid to redo things as you go. (Make sure there's enough room so that you can put the side panel back on)

5. Put the side panel back on

6. Make yourself some cookies. You deserve it.

This is acchieved by following Sleepylilazn's instructions, especially the cookie bit.

No problem! Haha, just noticed your specs, if you get the Switch, we will be sharing 3 components.
