I don't understand why they'd do this. If all except for a few ISP's starting blocking sites that won't pay them, the people trying to view them will surely swap to the ones that don't block and they'll start losing customers and therefore profits. It doesn't sound like good business sense to me.

I don't think they would be as blunt as completely blocking a website, just perhaps make one website load slower and therfore make a person want to use another website that does load fast. I don't know how they would do that though.

This stuff should be illegal just like political candidates receiving money from corporations.

I wa told about 'internet 2'. An idea to re-establish the www under control. There will be a format to follow, like specific apps to use to post. So anyone can't post anything. that'll give security and leave the illegal stuff seperate, easier to trace2
