Hey guys,
I'm just want your thoughts and opinions on this, because I can't decide on the sensible thing to do.
I've got a PS4 on pre-order, but I' am debating cancelling it for one reason really, when the PS3 and 360 released BOTH consoles had issues, the 360 obviously had the RROD and the PS3 as I know first hand overheated to, it just used to freeze after 10 minutes of gameplay within my first month of having it.
Can we expect the same thing to happen with the next-gens being released shortly? One thing I noticed was at E3, Assassins Creed was being demo'ed and all of a sudden FREEZE, was this software related or had the system overheated? Microsoft said recently, "The Xbox ONE knows when it's overheating" ...and will try to cool itself, use less power blah blah blah, but the system SHOULD NOT be overheating!
I don't want to give £350 out out, and never be able to use the console because it has teething problems, sending it back and forth to the manufacturer etc. Do you think it's wise to hold off a year or so, or at least until we get an actual idea of what the consoles issues are, if any?
