Hi All,

Come this week I want to buy a new case.....Please could anyone share their thoughs on the best cases atm on the below prefences:

Case to be ultra good looking with a see through window

Good for both air and water cooling

My budget is around £200

Thanks

Corsair 600T is a real good one IMO.I have one (White version,it has a windows in it) and it looks amazing and has great features. Not sure on Water cooling but its a good air cooling case

Have a look at the Lian Li cases, all ally, so they are easily customized, as well as being light. I'm just elitist towards Lian-Li, I just appreciate good quality stuff, I'd have no hesitation choosing any Lian Li case over a Coolermaster for example, a shed load of plastic and clunky steel ain't for me.

NZXT Switch 810!

Great for watercooling and aircooling as well, have a HUGE window, looks really nice(in white

Forgot to mention but the Corsair 800D is a good one aswell but its about 20 pound over the budget you have

NZXT 810 Switch and Bitfenix Shinobi XL(No pictures on side window yet and not released yet). So NZXT 810 Switch seems like the way to go now.

its like most cases where the front ans top are plastic but the rest is steel there are many all steel ot aluminum cases but the plastic on the 810 is very well done

Well, that's you. We're talking about Briggsy here.

each to their own.

Something being all metal doesn't make it any better than something that is plastic, at the end of the day it's just what is used to make the case.

What makes a good case is what you can do with it and the Switch 810, at the moment, supports and does things other cases don't do without moding and doesn't limit what you can do by doing something else. Also, like S_I_N said, the main body is steal it's only the outside front and top part of the cae that are plastic and the plastic isn't cheap crap is very good quality.

Yup, you can't really comment on the quality until you've seen it first hand and built a system in it.

I would like to add on this by saying you can't say plastic < aluminum. There exists good quality plastic and bad quality plastic. Same for metal. There exists good quality metal and bad quality metal. Difference in quality is generally not dependent on whether it is plastic or not.

I agree.

Wow, sorry, its just my opinion. Personally I don't like plastic cases, never have done never will, it will never have the strength, durability, looks, workability or mod-a-bility of ally or steel.
