I have been waiting so long to make my own pc and finally be in high quillity after playing over 10 years on low grafics. But... I have a slight problem... now I do have the money for it and then I am just stuck. I have been asking friends and some store's for advice what to have in my PC but there are so many different opinions or just things that are way more expensive then it should be. I am myself not really an PC know all, just average so I see all this things that components do and I am like.. what??

But getting to the case, if anyone knows what sort of things are best for the PC please help. I have an bugget of 2000 euro's so that should make a great pc. Its purely for high gaming stuff, so I want it just to run smooth and be rid of the low grafics and lag I normaly deal with. Also I kinda don't want my PC to be an power eater ( Mate told me he used 2 electrical sources for his pc ) so you know what I mean, I hope.

Also I probbely won't risk it building it together myself. Are there good website's where to choose what you want in your PC without getting ripped off by an much higher prize?

I really hope I gave enought information and not being a big noob in all your eye's.

Greetz,

Twan

PS: My grammar can be bad, sorry.

Bonus extra, this is the state of my current PC.

Processor: amd a4-3420 apu with radeon(tm) hd graphics 2.80 ghz
RAM:4GB

I'm sorry here mate but can you say which Country you live in? please so the Forum users will able able to help you more :)

• Where are you located?
• What is your budget?
• Will you need a monitor, keyboard, and/or mouse included in that budget?
• Shall you be requiring an OS?
• What will you be using this rig for?
• If gaming, what resolution will you be playing at?
• Will you be overclocking?
• Do you need a full build or will you be reusing some old parts?

Fill this all out for us. It'll really help speed up the process and add anything else you think is going to help us help you. Otherwise we will all end up asking the same thing and it'll take much longer... obviously we know it's a full build and we know the budget but just fill everything else out!:)

Also tell us if you plan to go AMD or Intel CPU wise so we can guide you to the right components there mate :)

• Where are you located? Holland
• What is your budget? 2000 euro's
• Will you need a monitor, keyboard, and/or mouse included in that budget? Already have good stuff for that
• Shall you be requiring an OS? Yes since I lost the disk but someone near to me can put it on for me
• What will you be using this rig for? purely for the newest games and high quillity
• If gaming, what resolution will you be playing at? If its possible highest as it can be.
• Will you be overclocking? Only when I am starting to fall behind
• Do you need a full build or will you be reusing some old parts? Full all new

Also I am not sure what to pick, AMD or intel. Whats the best? There are just people who always pick their fav brand and swear the other down.

Sorry for not providing enought information, I hope this will be enought and thanks for all people.

What resolution does your current screen have, if you plan to replace it soon which res will that be?

Don't know what websites you use over in Holland to buy your parts, so I'll just list part names that should still come within budget hopefully..
Also don't know if case size is restricted but I'll stick with a micro ATX build. Small yet powerful. Can always go normal ATX and get something bigger and with more room internally.

CPU: I5 6600k
Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII GENE
Expensive and overkill, however it's the only board I feel worth getting on the MATX market right now as everything else is quiet cheap and ugly.
RAM: HyperX FURY 16GB 2x8GB DDR4
SSD: Crucial MX200 500GB
GPU: Asus R9 Fury or a Sapphire R9 Fury.
Could also get a GTX 980 however if you prefer Nvidia.
PSU: EVGA G2 650Watt PSU. Could also get a Seasonic SS-660X. Both are made by great companies.
Case: Fractal Design Arc R2 Mini. Or a Corsair 350D, Air 240.
Cooling: Corsair GTX h100i
OS: Windows 10 Full version Home.

Did this with a 2000 euro budget, which is about $2200 US(I live in the US). I got this to about 1600euro's. Which means enough budget to upgrade to an I7 CPU if you please, or add another AMD Fury or GTX 980. However if you did add another GPU of any kind, I'd highly recommend upgrading the PSU to something at least 850watts for some decent amount of headroom and OC'ing space as well.

Edit: if you need more storage, just get a harddrive the size of your choice from a brand you trust, Western Digital, Seagate, etc. HDDs are cheap.
