This is my first post here, I haven't checked out the forum guidelines but I'll try to not be too newbish. Oh by the way, hello overclock 3d community, nice to meet you.
I'm building a new computer, my first build ever. I like to think I know a fair share about computers but I've never really sat down and built or assembled my own computer which personally I find a bit embarrassing being a 23 year old male. So I'm going to rid myself of this embarrassing build-virginity and hopefully I can pop my cherry with the help of you guys.
The system components I've got my eyes set on are;
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
RAM: Corsair 16GB DDR3 Vengeance Low profile
3d card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670
Heatsink: Phanteks PH-TC14PE
Power Supply: Fractal Design Newton R3 600w Modular
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
As for optical drives, I don't really see the necessity in it but I have one laying around. I'm buying it from dustinhome.no the price of these components I feel are very acceptable. Now I said I liked to think I know a thing or two about PCs but I'm far from an expert so please slap me with some advice about anything, building in general or what/if I should switch some components around.
