building a web browsing pc for a buddy of mine

im either going with a 880g mobo and athlon ii x2

or should i go for the cheaper choice of an amd zacate board?

or maybe something else?

BTW: you don't 'build' for that type of use

you can pick up a 2nd hand PC for browsing

You can get cheap PCs like this LINK from Ebay, if it's just for web browsing it's more than enough plus it's dirt cheap.

maybe calling it web browsing pc was pushing it lol... hes probably gonna do more then that(music cd burning hd video) but i honestly cant think of what else he could do that needs more then a dual core... budget wise im aiming about 300-350

i might just go with the athlon... most pcs i see around that price have similar specs or less... but i can potentially unlock the 2 extra cores and give him a small OC if i build it for him

yea imma just go with a x2 (possibly unlocking to x4) best bang for buck imo and itll last him forever for all his needs

or maybe ill just sell him my rig..... and get money for my sandy bridge build
