And that should be it

I already have a 5400 RPM and a 7200RPM 500GB HDD he can have, not sure whether to use the SSD with SRT or just as a boot drive, possibly leaning more towards SRT

Any advice? This machine will not be used for gaming, ever, it wont do anything more strenuous than photoshop, and he'll also never over clock.

Cheers

if it was me i'd use it as a boot drive, but this is my dad who while not being the least tech savvy is hardly the most, i just wonder if he'll manage the limited space in the best way and if SRT would do it better for him

Looks good to me. As long as you use the SSD as the boot drive and the HDD's as storage for everything else, you should be good. Forget SRT, it's not worth it.

Looks good to me mate
