Someone came to me, and asked what I could do with their existing desktop which currently consists of a P4 with 256mb of ram, with a cheep n' cheerful 500w PSU and case. It will be running windows 7, but what I'm torn about is either to go with one of AMD's APU units or run with Intel's integrated graphics on 1155 Pentium series.
So, what I've looked at so far is either...
Asus E35M1-M, with the E-350 APU
or
Intel Pentium G860 with an MSI H61MA-E35
Both will be paired with a 500gb seagate drive, and 4 or 6gb's of Corsair ram (1333)
Both come to under £200 which is the goal, but has anyone have any suggestions? The PC will be used for office, flash and basic games such as minecraft etc, and should last for about 2/3 years (big ask I know, but they aren't great computer users so it should last that long for them)
Cheers, Tom
