HAS NO ANTI ALIASING!?!

In fact...the only graphics you can tweak are:

settings.jpg

Pretty shocking - i hope theres a patch soon

Altho it does run smooth with no trouble..there are definately graphical options lacking

Its..playable so far, but a good patching is needed to enhance it to something above average

I might wait

but UT3...altho a crap game..did look perfectly acceptable and an alright lookin game

This game..sure its playable, but its like im playing something like cod2...hmm prolly worse

some people have got AA working by renaming the main exe to "bioshock" and forcing it in drivers but its ruins the shadows or something...wtf

I was looking at a thread over at overclock.net and the OP said that it looks much better with forced antialiasing using the Nvidia Control Panel or ATi's equivalent.

I really want this game, might pick it up sometime over the weekend. Looks frickin' brilliant. :)

It is an amazing game indeed. Playing it to death, nice plot.. really gripping. I thought it was going to end twice, but it keeps going.

Obviously, the AI can sometimes do stupid things, but it happens.

Can some1 who has forced AA in nvidia control panel tell me what settings to do?

At first it doesnt detect the game, so i choose manual selection, i then set it to AA and nothing happens in game :(

ok iv solved it - had to click FORCE not ENHANCE kinda thing

although it does suffer fps wise even on 4x AA so i set it to 2x

This game any good? ive been toying with the idea of buying it. Need a Physx card for destructible cover?

Yes its good I personaly find that the GFX fine but did notice the lack of AA but am gonna try forceing it on the Nv control panel

The game is amazing.. the story is as good as any WWII film. PhysX cards have now been pushed in the bin mate.

Geforce PhysX is where it is at. ;)

8800 will be fine.

I worry about PhysX cards as the PCI bus bandwidth just ins't enough. Having two GPUs seems to be getting some good results. ;)

The bandwidth is more than enough, and it does the job ?

EDIT: Looking around at the various reviews going on of PPU vS CPU vS GPU for the Phyx side of things, it may well be the case that nVidia`s lean on the drivers are moving away from the pci slotted legacy PPU, particularly with use of the gfxcard`s api. There aren`t any definative trustworthy postings out there of whether using the PPU with it`s dedicated drivers is/are better than the nVidia PhysX and opting for using the PPU in the settings of the GPU drivers. One uses the CPU more than the other - even tho giving a high fps result in games.

I may well look into this myself, especially if I pick up a GT2xx card b4 my week off. Then I can atleast base results of using a 8800GT vS the PPU, under all circumstances.
