Brexit: The Movie

yo nice one sided film.

As always, disregard anything produced by the various campaigns (especially when it has been created by a well known loonie) and do a large amount of googling and reading statistics.

I said the same about the Government's book and I'll say the same about this one sided farce.

The EU was a concept thought up by a fruit cake in the first place at the turn of the 20th century, An austrian count who said some rather distasteful loony things about the reason for forming the EU.

the EU was setup as a free trade between member countries, not to govern our laws and decide what we can and can't do

only thing i worry about with an exit. is that we wont have to listen to European courts of human rights. and then mentalist government can do what they want. they already shown that they can disregard the house of lords when it comes to wealth of commoners due to privilege laws..

Silly thing is privilege laws were supposed to stop the house of lords telling the government they couldn't help civilians with benefits and free health care, but the government are using it to cut healthcare and remove benefits from the ill and needy, and when the house of lords step in they throw privilege laws at them meaning they cannot intervene "the exact opposite of what it was made for" So the only thing keeping our government from going nuts is the European court of human rights.

Apart from that.
id be happy not to be in the eu. even if they just allowed the house of lords to step in and fix this stuff id be happy to leave.
but given that the government seem so dead set about staying in the Eu "even though they never were" im less worried about it than i probably should be.

what

The first roots of the eu came from a steel and coal trading group formed by France, West Germany, Belgium and some others. In the 50s.

Not really sure what you're going on about?

People are afraid that the EU has become a substitute of the Soviet Union, some of them even call it EUSSR -European Union of Soviet Socialistic Rebublics- and that thought is scaring them. A very small percentage of the people know how the EU works, and let's be honest it's a horrible bureucratic system.

Also the wages of the EU staff is tremendously high, especially when there are so many councils and commissions. People don't want to pay taxes for a system they don't know how it works, and how it benefits them -if at all- Some things that the EU has established like the open borders have helped economies grow, the Euro has been a really stable currency but small countries like Greece has dragged it down somewhat. EU was meant to be a Union that would establish a free economy market between the member states. All state member civilians should have equal rights in every member state and most importantly to form a union of states and ethnicities to make sure that european states won't go into war again with their european brethren... The basic ideas behind the EU are great, but the implementation got effed up -on purpose maybe- with the passage of time

Research Richard Nikolaus Eijiro, Count of Coudenhove-Kalergi and the Kalergi plan, It's amazing how many people are completely oblivious as to one of the reasons for the EU, It was my history teacher who first made me aware of it.

He was one of the people promoting "European Integration" but he was also a very sick man, Mentally and his ramblings and memoirs later in life reflect a complete nut job.

an idea for a 'united states of europe' is more federal and conjoined compared to what the EU was set out to be (and before someone says it, we're a long way off of that, especially the UK). So I'd argue that this one guy doesn't have much of a roll in this. That is unless you consider the first person to suggest uniting a continent as one 'super state' as the inspiration for all plans for the EU.

Your history teacher might be a bit of a closet white supremicist judging by the websites that talk about Eijro btw . Websites like stormfront for example. According to those sites, hes the source of the great jewish plan to wipe 'whitey' out of europe. Amazing. Probably put me on a Government watch list now haha.
