Right, where do I start?

Main reason for this post is last nights rude awakening by rev heads outside my house. Thoroughly fed up with it for a variety of reasons as stated below:

1 - NOISE! As with most guys we love the sound of a nice engine but there becomes a time (normally at 1am) when I don't give a monkeys and want to sleep. I guess I'm also fed up with the ridiculous exhausts (and the stupid noise which comes with them) which get strapped to 1L Corsas.

2 - Insurance!!!! Without these boy racer idiots my car insurance wouldn't be so high! Young drivers should be put on a speed awareness course before they are allowed a license. Young drivers like myself who drive as they should are penalised for other peoples mistakes and idiocy.

I'll think of some more reasons and come back to you guys...

we get stigmatised before we even drive a car

o look so many weekend accidents :0 , well statistics is very good to make it show what u want to make ur point

ime not saying its not the boy racers just saying the majority of idiots i see are well above 24

Now I'm out of my blind rage, you do have a point. I have seen some seriously bad driving from the middle aged group. I've been driving for 3 years now and I'm just about to insure my second car and it's going to be 700quid for a 1.2!!!! My Capri costs me less right now and that's declared as modified and is a 1.6. The government needs to crack down on insurance companies.

i got a 1.6 diesel and the tax on it is mental

a few months ago it was all about buy a diesel its good for the economy

now ime seen as a polutor :S
 
Uh Oh, don't get me started on tax! It's silly how the whole of the EU has diesel cheaper than petrol but somehow in the UK we have it more?

There has yet to be a reliable to alternative to petrol/diesel cars so please Mr Government stop kicking your people in the teeth!! We need our cars to work....
 
Insurance is messed up up until christmas i drove a 1.4 petrol scirocco that drunk unleaded faster than i drink mountain dew the insurance was 1400 last year. 2 weeks ago i bought a landrover discovery 4 with my dad and the insurance for 23 year old me my mum and 20 year old sister is 950. For a 3 litre v6 diesel mini shagohod. Its unbelievable. Double the weight price and horsepower and just as fast. I hate boy racers with their fart boxes but if kill for a nissan s15 or a twin turbo manual supra
 
Boy racers were I live don't have a I.q above 3, If I had a pound for ever clio,corsa volkswagon that has been slammed and fitted with a halfords tin can sorry I mean exhaust I wouldn't have to work again for the next few years.

In fife we have the highest deaths rate in Scotland, a boy racer died earlier this year for slamming on his breaks not wearing a seatbelt going straight thru the fecking wind shield and impaling him self on a fence.

what's really annoying is 1 there's a sh*t load of race tracks for them to use but they would prefer to race pass a bloody primary school and 2 the police do feck all.

I love it when I first moved to fife from Edinburgh every red faced spotted chav wanted to race me there was 1 problem I was driving a Chrysler neon that was pushing out 400bhp fully modded to the teeth, 1. I would have left there mums car behind and 2. I'm not stupid I'm not risking my life or some one else or loosing my car.

I had to sell that car monster on the petrol and insurance I was 23 at the time when I owned it cheapest insurance at the time I could get was £650 a month and when I moved to fife it shot up.

now I'm looking for summit a lot smaller for the girlfriend and different been looking at either a fiat 500, smart car, volkswagon lupo....I cant drive any more

LOL, my GF has been driving 4 years in June, no accidents,securely parked, no mods 1990 Fiesta.... 1500quid. Thats a 1.0, crime area is a low... She was trying to insure a 1.2 1998 model 2,800quid, 500compulse third part F&T... So she's stuck with a 1.0 1990

... It's a beaut though old but in good nick flew through MOTs. Quick start off too... 30-40 yr olds revving at lights loool...2.0 gets shown up loool. GF just shifts perfectly, never speeds though. She's never done >70

Honestly it should be illegal to modify the car for the sole purpose of it sounding like a chainsaw held up to microphone. They break the speed limit, endangering peoples lives, for their entertainment while making a ton of noise to look cool and to fit in with their friends. So sick of them, we've had lots of people die in accidents with speeding boy racers.

As mentioned before the 18-24 age group has way bigger taxes than they should have because of these idiots!
 
there are douchebags among us bikers though that treat every second they have a helmet on as a race against themselves. like im only on a suzuki sv650 which has a top speed of about 135 mph i wouldnt say im a speed demon but im not a sunday driver either. the whole,bikes v cars thing is a real p.i.t.b. so it is. ive had so many close calls driving below the speed limit and some douche in a discovery decides that he wants to cut infront of me or other things like that sometime i just want to stick my size 13 sidi vertigo corsas into some peoples door. when people let me past

on a side note i do want a stubby silencer to do the opposite of what its called. a gentle burble when idling then satan gargling absinthe while wearing nipple electrodes when pinned back
