Grizzly New member Apr 3, 2011 #2 Shouldn't run in to any problems, both are brand new top of the range products. But if you're getting a 2600k and D14 why wouldn't you want to over-clock it anyway? (referring to other post)

I've been considering doing an entire rebuild and upgrading to 1366 platform 990X. Just wondering if the performance boost is worth the money.

For gaming there won't be any difference. The 2600K is more than enough to keep up with the GTX590.
