Bottle-necking on 2600K

I have a 2600K processor and i plan to upgrade my graphics card to the GTX590.

Will the 2600K have any problems in keeping up with the GTX590 or will it need to be overclocked?

Shouldn't run in to any problems, both are brand new top of the range products.

But if you're getting a 2600k and D14 why wouldn't you want to over-clock it anyway? (referring to other post)

Coz i was just wondering about the 2600K itself (overclocked or not).

I've been considering doing an entire rebuild and upgrading to 1366 platform 990X.

Just wondering if the performance boost is worth the money.

For gaming there won't be any difference. The 2600K is more than enough to keep up with the GTX590.
