Past tense. livED. In addition, just because you have friends doesn't mean you are automatically in the loop. You're friends could just as well be uninformed or have already set opinions. It's only going to dripple down to you. So no, you don't know. I have lived here my whole life. Far bigger difference. The fact you think this is a dictatorship says it all.
I was fairly interested in Brexit actually, many people I know were. Now we didn't understand much because WE DON'T LIVE THERE but we could only follow what your media says, which is all lies. No matter what country it is, media lies. So having an informed opinion on it not many people have.

When you are talking about passionate people who are rightly angry it's not a good idea to encourage "debate" IMO.

I think politics are better off elsewhere, and we concentrate on computer pron. Much better pastime.
