In reality any outcome would have been the same had Clinton won, They are 2 sides of the same coin and quite chummy outside of politics.

Aye, it's a bad situation either way. Somehow the worse of the two won :S Boggles the mind. BUT lets not get into politics, we dun do that here :P

This joke is so old and tired by now. Hahaha, get it? Trump is so ridiculous.
Yea i've noticed, no need to repeat it every two seconds.

I'll just leave this here.

you say that, but repeating it didn't do enough did it?

Repeating it over and over again made him stronger because his opposition was so god damn annoying. People who would've never voted for Trump voted for him because they felt antagonized.
Decrediting Trump clearly didn't work and it was obvious that it was even helping him a year ago.

Please don't bring politics into the main forum. It's something I really truly hate. They belong in the same place as lawyers, judges and insurance salesmen. At the bottom of the sea.

So yeah, please don't bring it here. I'm pretty angry at the world as it is but this crap just boils my urine.

That painted such a gruesome hellraiser-esque picture in my mind XD

American values lol.

There is one thing they really do much better than anyone else -

They are will go down in history are the biggest hypocrites ever !!!

American values belong in my bathroom for when I run out of toilet paper.

And here you go bringing unneeded insults into the main forum. This make you the hypocrite BTW. If you can't see that that says it all.

Honestly this "news" is entirely inviting of a political debate in the thread. Really should not have been created imo with how everything is currently going in the world.
Let's keep the entire political stuff out of the main forum. No one here understands how America as a country feels right now, judging us is just as hypocritical of yourselves. So thanks.

You are angry at the world but you don't want to participate in politics? You realize that means all the decisions will be made for you and nobody will care for your problems right? It might not be fun to be confronted with viewpoints which oppose yours, but it's still somewhat necessary that you do confront them, politics is the heart of society.
We had a thread about Brexit, i don't know why there shouldn't be a discussion about this election. Maybe not in this thread though.

Why shouldn't the american people be judged, it's not like the criticism is directed at every single american personally.

A discussion is fine. But it never turns into one when America is the topic. People just start throwing insults as seen above. May not be directed at everybody in the US, but doesn't mean it is needed for someone like me on a foreign forum. I respect all countries, I love everything unique about them. But this same respect isn't held for America. So it turns into a slogging fest.
And also judging a country when you don't live there and know how it is, is just a false opinion in the end is it not? I have never judged any other country for there decisions like brexit for example, especially on this forum. because I don't know how it is over there. So what's the point of a dedicated thread? It'll be all opinions and turn into nonsensical debates. So just leaving anything political related out of the forum is probably a better idea

Nobody cares about my problems. The health system in place for people like me is disgusting and has been since Labour were in power. Nothing has changed apart from the fact it has gotten worse. I called my psych three days ago telling him I was worried I would hurt some one (either some one else or myself) and three days later he called me back.

So whoever I vote for and no matter what I do I am f*****. They're all corrupt private school heads the lot of them. They say they need my vote, well that's funny because when I went to vote on the Brexit they messed up and my polling station was five miles away, instead of the one 200ft from my front ******* door.

And no, I don't want to "debate" it. Sooner Trump presses the red button the better. Maybe after that we will crawl out of our own asses better off.

The US gets ripped on just like any other country, nothing special there.
I'd argue that europeans know a lot more about what it's like in the US than vice versa, american culture has a large influence. The american election was also a lot more closely followed in europe than brexit was in the US. Just because some people would turn it into slinging dirt at one another doesn't mean that everyone else should be blocked from having a discussion on the topic.
Of course it will be all opinions, that's what discussions are all about, you present your own opinion, learn about other people's opinions and then you criticize each opinion to see what holds merit. At the end of it all you hopefully have gained new insight on the matter. I'd say the brexit thread we had showed that we are capable of having a civilized discussion on the matter, i certainly got something out of it. I have no idea why so many people are afraid of some criticism and having to defend their point of view.

Well i didn't say that everything would revolve around you. Things may not change for the better if you get involved, but if you don't they certainly won't. If you hadn't posted about that incident with your psych or the mess up with the polling station (that one just sounds like a genuine mistake) i wouldn't have known about it and hence i wouldn't have cared either.
