Hello all, stumbled across this forum after browsing through xtreme systems. Nice forum great layout and if im not mistaken are we mostly european here ? thought so. Anyway ill be around bugging you for a while as overclockers.co.uk are quite restrictive about what can be posted in there forums especially when it comes to competition. Yes rules must be respected but banning somebody for explaining where one can find a 6 pin to 8 pin pci-express power adapter when they dont even sell them is a little bit over the top. Anyway hope to speak to you all soon. Just waiting for my replacement bios chip for my xfx 780i to arrive and im hoping i can get it orthos stable @ 4.5 on air.

Hello frenchboy and welcome to OC3D, and yes I'm sure that you'll find our forum a little more relaxed and friendly than others. While OC3D is based in the UK and many most of our members are from there, we also have considerable international coverage with our news/reviews, as well as a number of members from countries outside of the UK - I'm from Australia :) Anyway mate it's nice to see you here, and good luck with that overclock ;)

good to see you here frenchboy, im also a newbie as you can see, and the comunity here is great, no jokes :D, and like everyone said, welcome to :oc3d:

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, just waiting for my post count to rise so i can post some piccies in one of the other threads.

Welcome to the forums mate! I think the secret to Jim's post count is welcoming every new member, so I'll be trying that a little :p If you want postcount that badly though, just contribute to every thread you think you can help with, making sure its relative!

Yep, alive and kicking but I'm a poor student so I don't go often! I tend to spend my money up and down Oxford Road and at DnB raves! Manchester's a pretty good place to be but you're right about the rain- all the students who came from further afield find it strange to get a week of wet days in a row!

Music box is still goin but it's more one-off nights. Chase & Status were billed to play there but that got pulled  still got to see Mark XTC, Klute, Cotti + some others , Hit&Run @ Mint Lounge is pretty good and tonnes of students go to Monday Murkage @ One Central Street, also heard Missionary @ Space is supposed to be OK but aint been and check that out yet. My mate's starting up his own magazine about the Dubstep/DnB/HipHop scene so i'll ask him if he know's any of your mates.
