Being as they'd need new opticals for them anyway...

Wouldn't it be pretty decent to have something 500g or so in size, with a dual/quad lazer reader and redundancy.

At the same time as they release it, they can boast a unit that can r/w existing media 3 or 4 times better than b4 and do away with the ATA66 limit.

The claim is impressive but will it work with any player/burner?

It would hard to create a DVD2 in place of blu-ray already establishing itself.
