She actually has a case though. If the patent was filed before Blueray was designed then i think it's pretty justifiable to be irked that someone ripped off your idea.

I hate the suing culture, but it's not like this is a candidate for the Shelia awards.

Im pretty sure she wasnt the one who created the blue laser. I doubt she will win, and if she does the products at question here wont cease they will just make her settle for a lump sum.
