Planning to build a budget system for my wife. It would be only used for gaming (Dota 2 to be specific). And i want it small.

Got a CM elite 110 already, just waiting the motherboard to arrive.

Will it fit?

It will fit alright. But I hope you aren't planning to put a powerful CPU on that board...

And the case has two PCI brackets to accommodate dual slot graphic cards that only use one PCI-E slot on the motherboard.

So yes, both the case and motherboard are mini-ITX.

from what i read they call it flex atx, not sure about that though.
there are some boards similar to this one like from ecs

I'm sure he got the answer, on several forums.

i did, not im excited for it to finally arrive

finally a build that isn't red and black! :p

yeah that's what i notice, everyone is now sporting a red and black theme lol

Errhh yeah. Most videocards take up 2 slots due to the size of the cooler. They still only have one PCI-E connection though, cause... it's one video card.

i was referring to the motherboard, i think it can't be a mitx since the board has a pci-e X1 and a pci-e X16. while a normal mitx only has a single X16 pcie

Look at the picture, there is literally only one PCI-E (16x) slot on the board! Those slots on the right of the picture are for RAM.

Nope. Next to the x16 PCIe there is 1x PCIe. If you look at the motherboard screw holes, you'll see that on the left side the board extends more to the left side than a normal ITX board. On a normal ITX the distance from the holes to edge would be similar on both sides.

Ooooh I completely missed that one.

Hmmm board should still fit though, as long as the mounting holes are in the correct positions. That does mean that he cannot put a dual slot GPU in the 16x slot.

yeah, i guess having a dual slot gpu is impossible. planning to use a GT 740 for this though. it's for wifey so it shouldn't be that powerful :D
