Question: A bios chip thats been flashed will retain the update even when removed from the motherboard correct? I want to flash the chip on my old motherboard and then swap it into my new motherboard (same model) so I dont have to take the mach off to swap processors. Just want to know if thats going to work. I know the settings will all default (Im pretty much doing a hard cmos reset removing it) but will the update remain. Thanks
