Big Things Do Come in Small Packages

Hi Guys,

Just finished my 2011 Mini Itx build with the concept of trying to shoehorn some high performance parts into the smallest case that would sit comfortably. I have always like SFF builds since its more of a challenge to find parts to play nice without making big sacrifices. Anyways, enjoy

Core i5 2500k

ASRock H67M-ITX/HT (waiting to be replaced with zotac Z68)

Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600

1TB Western Digital Blue HDD

Asus GTX 590

Corsair H50 cooler

Corsair AX750

LG Blu Ray drive

Lian Li PC-Q08

The 2500k idles around 28c and loads at 52c max thus far. The 590 idles around 38c and maxes at 85c with fan set to 65 under load. My room stays at about 70F.

Very nice! Nice and tidy too for such a small case. I expect with the 590 stock cooler temps are quite managable.

I looked at the Mini Tank as an option for a portable beast of a rig when I get some monies, but decided I personally didn't like the aesthetics so much and changed my mind.

That said, layout is decent with good airflow I reckon. It's deffo NOT a cheap case though, so you'd have to really want it.
