BF3 Pre-Orders

I haven't pre-ordered BF3 yet (I know, call me crazy) and am wondering if it is too late to pre-order and receive the expansion packs?

Is it included for all pre-orders before initial release?

You get the expansion pack with the limited edition but it's only 3 maps from BC2 I think you get early access to a couple of weapons and a couple of skins with the limited edition as well. You will get them if you buy the limited edition even after the release day if it's still being sold.

How can a download be limited edition though?

And isn't it 4 maps?

Thanks for your reply though.

They always do it with most games you get the normal version and the limited or what ever they call it edition and charge more for it. I don't think it's worth the extra money though, you get the weapons eventually any way, the skins personally I don't think matter at all seen as it's a FPS and you only see the gun anyway and the maps are from BC2 but I don't want to play maps from BC2 I want to play the new BF3 maps.

This is what you get in the limited edition

Players can storm the battlefield armed with powerful weapons and items only available in the Physical Warfare Pack including the Type 88 light machine gun with bipod for superior firepower and total zone control, the SKS sniper rifle flash suppressor that provides increased stealth abilities for Recon soldiers, and the lethal armour-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun that is sure to tear through anything in its path. Also included is day one access to the highly versatile DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun itself.

In addition to the launch day exclusive weapons, the Physical Warfare Pack also includes the Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand digital expansion pack. Players can wage all-out war on four of the most celebrated maps from Battlefield 2, including Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and the Sharqi Peninsula, all stunningly re-created using the power of Frostbite™ 2. DICE's state of the art game engine serves as the power center for Battlefield 3 to deliver superior performance in character animation, visual rendering, audio and physical destruction unlike anything ever seen before.

Yeah, says it that quote I posted from EA. I'll get them separately when they release the expansion pack if I ever decide to, I only paid £13 for my BF3 key anyway so an extra £5 won't hurt I'd rather wait for a proper BF3 expansion pack though.

Got my copy at midnight launch on Oxford Street, London where EA drove a tank down to the store which was awesome

And the launch was hosted by Gadget Shows Jason Bradbury who also picked up a copy of BF3 aswell.
