Better AQM3 Score

No joy unfortunatly. I put my 2d upto 450 from 275, but there is absolutly no effect on my AMQ3 score

There must be some other factor. Could it be my memory timings? They are 1.5-3-3-5. cannot get them any lower. need some GeIL One lol.

Try CAS2 and 3-2-5 - should provide some better results.

TEll me your exact clock speed and I'll drop mine down to the same tomoz and drop scores in here - also, it could be as simple as until you get your new PSU that u do not have full power?

Also - my installation of windows is pretty new and in good shape, if yours is a mature installation. you may have other items sucking up resources and slowing you down,

Ok i'm running @ 249x12 @ 1.5-3-3-5 (no divider)

My GFX @ 625/1960(3D) 450/1400(2D)

I re-installed windows yesterday and am using 81.95.

My PSU should be here today as I recieved a shipping email yesterday

I will force myself not to put the other card in straight away, and re-run my single card benches to see if power is the issue.

I couldn't run my memory @ 3-2-5 or 2-3-5 either at 1.5 or 2.0 Cas. It just wont boot at anything lower than 3.

At 12x249 I achieved the same score as previously shown within 50pts - no need to post piccie.

Again the CPU score is 14800+ so that contributes overall - surprising that the FX55 at the same clocks is actually (on this test anyway) more powerful than an opteron set at the same speed??

I was more interested in the 2-2-5 than the cas# as when i changed from 4-4-8 to 3-3-5 i got about a 7000 point gain. As you are on BH-5 I'm assuming you are running something like 2-2-2-5.

If this is the case I'm gonna go out and by some GeIL One as soon as I can lol.

Okay ran it @ 2-3-3-5 and lost 1500 points - CPU score dropped 100points still showing that FX is stronger at same speed than the opty in this test with same timings in clock and memory.

Lets clear this one up - just to see.

Da Guy can you take a pickie of your ram setting as used in a64 tweaker.

If we agree to set up at 249x12 and set ram timings exactly the same say 2-3-3-5- we can then compare true CPU score sin this test.

Its all swings and round abouts and as you say its all relative but i agree fx55 for £425 is a bit of a bargain
