Best usb gamin headset for around £35-£50 ?

hi, as i have some strange bug with my pc aux at the moment, im interested in buying i decent usb headset for around £35 - £50.
i generally play fps games, cod4 promod, cs, bf3 and things like that but i also like to listen to bass music like chillstep so that would be a bonus if possible.

i know close to nothing about audio so i thought i would post on here for some of you lovely people to possibly give me feedback

Maybe check out the Plantronics Gamecom 780?

yeah they look okay but i have always been a bit warey about those plantronics just because i thought they were a cheap brand with bad quality but maybe not, have you used them yourself ?
