Best USB Dongle + Mobile ISP

Hey guys,

Im looking for a decent usb wireless dongle with a decent net connection for gaming. i know wireless isnt the best for gaming but lack of phone lines doesnt help.

Whats the most reliable / decent priced isp/dongle i could have?

could anyone define the best option between wireless g/b?

If you get virgin media 50mb connection you get a free wireless N router and dongle. Add to that blazin' net connection. If money is no object vigors 2110n router with a rangemax wireless key will give you a flawless wireless connection

As for isp, i have virgin media, no throttling issues yet

I have a t-mobile dongle, nowt wrong with it syncs up at 7.2mbps most of the time. Saying that I live near london and mostly use it in london so I cant comment on the speeds else where.

3G Dongle + Games = FAIL

Simple as that really. The latency on those things is insane. Even when sitting slap bang in the middle of London with my dongle facing in the air (oooh matron!) the ping response to most servers is still ~200ms

3G isnt for gaming Email and Web Browsing is fine.

Any 3G dongle will be sufficent for web browsing, streaming (low quality), MMORPG games or any other game's that involve low bandwidth.

No dongle will be enough for games like CS:S, COD4, etc though mate. Also remember even if you get the fastest dongle, you need a high usage limit which will end up costing a lot.

I pay £15/month for mine which is 15GB limit. (Very good price for the limit, was on offer), which is with ''3'' network.

Go to vodafone which are faster than 3 i think and you pay like £30/month for 10GB.

i would sugest calling bt to see if you can get a phone line installed
