right ive jus flashed my bios 2 the latest version p4c81016 and i seem 2 b havin problems gettin 270fsb plus on all of my p4 chips (3.0e,3.0c and 2.8m0). so i think it may b the bios. so which bios is the best 4 clockin?
best p4c800-deluxe bios 4 o/c??

whats the stepping of that prescott you got?
if you can tell me what it says on the IHS would be great or in cpuz

ye sorry i neva replied yesterday brw, right my chip is a 3.0e sl79l fpo: 3409A549 im not sure which steppin this is as cpu-z does not show a steppin, it jus comes up blank mate.

dont think its a D0 chip..
gotta check though
try the latest cpu z 1.22 mate and check if it comes with any info on the revision

someone with one is getting the following:
4.35Ghz in R404 Mach II is super pi stable. Max pic stable is 4.5Ghz

well i was benchin it last night and i could only get it stable at 4.05ghz with 1.475vcore. but even wen i raised the vcore 2 1.75 i culdnt get past that clock. but that was with the latest p4c800 deluxe bios. i now went bk 2 1011, and im clockin it atm mate. so ill keep u posted ova the nxt few hours. and ye it is a C0 i jus checked
. but i found a 2.8 m0 at work the otha day tho

i donno wats goin on with this chip but i ave it runnin at 4.2 with 1.6vcore but this is not prime stable. and wen i try 2 raise the vcore my rig wnt post
even if i down the fsb this chip will not accept ova 1.6vcore. v-strange Brwmogazos
