Right, after the disaster that was the Corsair Raptor M4 I need a new mouse.

I'll use it for...
Office / internet stuff (scrolling and middle clicking a lot)
Casual fps gaming

I hold my mouse in a fingertip grip and have medium sized hands
Any mice from Maplin get extra points as I've got a £20 voucher there.
Thanks in advance :)

If u can stretch to 50 quid then you could get the corsair m65.
Ive got one in white and i absolutely love it.

If not you could prob find the m60 for about 40 but dont quote me on it

there is no best mouse because it comes down to personal preference.
i think the steelseries sensei raw is in that price segment.

I've used a Logitech M500 for years.

Now I have a G700, which is a bit larger that the other, but its still good :-)

Probably doesn't matter too much in that budget, but most things Steelseries, Corsair, Roccat, Logitech, Cyborg or CM Storm, will probably do.

What are people's thoughts on logitech G400, it gets some good reviews but it's a funny shape so I'm not sure about it.

I've got a G400 and it's a pretty solid mouse. It's not too big but I wouldn't consider it small. For a fingertip grip, it would probably work pretty well. Personally I'd rather have a DeathAdder instead. That's my all time favorite mouse.

I use a 5 year old Logitech optical mouse and could play at a pretty high level in COD4. Go for whats best for you... Comfort, size and weight are probably the most important things.

Also remember a infrared laser mouse needs a nice surface to work on.
