Best monitor for colors

I've heard that the AOC ones are supposed to have amazing colours, even though their real response time is a bit on the high side. If you don't need it for gaming, I'd suggest those as they're relatively cheap compared to brands like Dell, Samsung and Asus :)

If you do have the money; Grab one of the above mentioned brands. Best thing to do would be to go to a local shop and compare tbh

They're pretty much all the same tbh...
Best colours are in IPS monitors and pretty much all the 22'' and 23'' screens use the same LG display.

Look at LG, Iiyama and Dell. The AOC ones are a little over priced and I wouldn't trust the brand as much as I would the other 3 I've mentioned.

OLED will be best for colour contrast, but they are too frigile atm so we'll have to wait for some proper panels,

for now best ones are IPS,

if you can afford i would get a dell ultrasharp series

You will be looking at IPS panels.
Asus Pro Arts monitors are really good, and are calibrated out of the box.

How about NEC SpectraView® 232 or Eizo ColorEdge CG246. ?
Would be nice to know what pricepoint youre looking at.

My recommendation is Dell U2410M, 1920*1200 - Also comes pre-calibrated, and was 101% RGB color gamut when tested.

Thanks, I'll go with an IPS 1080p panel, its not just for gaming but also for Photoshop CS6 and stuff :)
I have 300 GBP as a budget
