Best moments.

Following on from a thread I spotted on a different forum.

What would be your highs/lows of pc building/over-clocking/cooling ect ect.

Mine would have to be my first build at the tender age of 15 and not a clue on over-clocking or voltages I just went into it blind and still makes me warm and fuzzy. Along with nights and nights of testing over-clocks when I refused to sleep incase prime95 failed.

Low would be nuking a ridiculous amount of hardware over the following six years psu/hdd/ram/mobo/gpu's/burnt fingers.

so what would yours be ???

I think one of mine would be daza so drunk and being sick he hadnt a clue where he was, havnt seen him that happy since!

The othertime would be welshd1k asleep being sick in a bucket hanging out my front door!

Would that be that sausage roll incident by any chance or was that another occasion.

And nop it doesn't as we didn't test much apart from watching the top gear audience ........... Tom.

One of mine would be getting a shock from a faulty psu then forgetting to Put the motherboard stand offs in the case, not the best thing to do lol

Following on from Alien, mine would be the 1st rig I ever assembled, and being my usual hap-hazard self, dicing one of my fingers on a CPU heatsink during fitting and dripping blood over the motherboard lol. Was so relieved when it all worked 1st time with no issues whatsoever

Would like to add cutting tubing and thinking "damn this is touch" then slicing through it ................ and part of my thumb and going to the doctors to have it glued and bandaged as Id taken out a sizeable chuck of skin and what ever is under it still have the mark there today.

And no tom the nurse was not hot.

Yep, my hands kill me after cable management, get alot of scratches from it, damn those cable ties!

Stuck my finger in a 60mm Delta screamer once. Hurt like a bitch. Damn thing literally sounded like a blow dryer.

Due to me being a completely silly sod I put my tongue in a 120mm server fan once. I just got this irresistable urge to see if it would hurt.

I won't do it again. Amazing how boring working in a PC business can be sometimes, but I would never resort to that sort of stupidity again.

Mind you some of the stuff I came up with was genius. Take off the side panel and drop a fart in the case. wait for your friend to come and turn it on and watch his nose turn up as the fans guff it out.
