name='Jim' said:I really wanted Wifi until i realised how bloody useless it was. I've got a P1i and apart from the occasional checking of email on it at home when my PC's are in pieces I never use it.
HSDPA is where its at. Up to 7.2mbps providing the network supports it.

WiFi, HSDPA, Touch Screen, GPS built in and Word/Excel/Powerpoint as well as push mail.
Quite expensive to buy...but deals are quite negotiable on contract I think. Awesome bit of kit.

name='Phoenix' said:As I never buy new phones, I can't exactly throw myself into this discussion, however, after having owned a few Nokias, and seeing people complaint so much about them, it'll surely be a long time until I buy one again. Anyway, I'm a Sony-Ericsson-man, and even though there are a few problems with those too, I can't say they're as bad as Nokia. I've had my K800i for 2 years or so, and there's not any outstanding problems with it (though there have been some). I guess it all comes down to the software anyway.
Now, when it comes down to functions, as long as I can write textmessages, use it to make phonecalls (it's pretty amazing they haven't removed this nifty feature yet), store contacts, take pictures and use it as an alarmclock, that's pretty much what I really need. Also, the web-browser can come in handy sometimes, for reading bash.org-quotes when I'm bored, but I'm not really dependent on that one.![]()
