Best Gaming Mouse

So, I need a good gaming mouse for under 40 euros, but I have 1 requirement. The mouse can't have any other buttons other than the scroll wheel button, the left and right click and maybe even a DPI button. That's it. I was thinking of getting this one, and disabling the extra buttons with the software, but if you have any better suggestions, please let me know because the disabled buttons are really ugly looking in my opinion! I think it's all personal choice.

I have a deathadder as I like the shape of the MS Intelli Explorer over the Logitech MX 500 shape.

If I was getting a new mouse I'd probably either get another Deathadder (have 2 atm) or a Steelseries Sensei.
I only run my deathadder at 1800dpi 1000hz.
I replaced my original Deathadder 1800 with a Respawn but still only run it at 1800dpi.

If you have a chance, try a few different mice before deciding.

I also use teflon tape on the bottom of my mice for more slide.


The longest lasting mice I've had are: Razer Diamondback (5+years), Deathadder 1800dpi (5years + still working), Deathadder Respawn (bought over 2 years ago and my current mouse)
I had a MX500 that lasted 6months

Those Perixx MX-1000 "transformer" mice look like they are cheaply made.

I'm not sure of many good gaming mice for under 40 euro's unless you go for the ones with less buttons (eg: steelseries kinzu £23-26 || Razer Abyssus £30)

There are deathadder respawns around for £35 and steelseries sensei for around £35 but that is just over 40 euros (41?)

Sorry, but did you even read my whole post? I clearly asked for mice with the least buttons possible!

get money and get a zowie mouse i doubt they have cheaper ones than 40€.
also stop the "best mouse/KB/other peripherals" crap, it doesn't work that way. it's a lot about personal preference.

The Razer DeathAdder is a pretty good choice. I've had mine for nearly 2 years now, with no problems at all. There are only 2 extra buttons in addition to the regular buttons.

If you want a cheap mouse with no buttons, just run down to Walmart and pick up a basic Microsoft office mouse for about $15. I don't know of any gaming mice that don't have thumb buttons. Kinda defeats the purpose.

not really. a zowie mouse usually doesn't have a lot of extra buttons, neither has the logitech g9x, only the two side buttons and those are pretty much standard even for non gaming mice.

Read properly dude I said 5 buttons
And most of them have 5 buttons: left, right, scroll, back, forward(those on the side).
Personally I don't like mouses that are not having dpi buttons as I use different dpi for different programs, games etc.

with gaming mice its all personal preference the best one i had was my razor lachesis i still have it but the left click button snapped off i had it 4 years and it was well and truly abused in cod4 and bf2 lol.

since then ive had a steel series which i didnt like was too restrictive.

my mx518 i loved but once i got my g500 ill never use another mouse it has all the features i could want or need including 5 dpi settings 7 buttons etc..

if you really want a gaming mouse go to a pc store even pc world sell a variety now.. and try them out how they feel etc you will find the right one for you

another one to look at is corsair or even coolermaster's cm range the latter can be had for under £20 and is a decent one tom gave it 2 awards in his review >>
