The 7970M and 680M have rendered the 675M obsolete.

he wanted a decent gaming laptop and i provided one, yes there may be better cards, but also there was a budget to think about

This. You could get a 3570k with a GTX 670 / Radeon HD7970 and add some more things. Like a better PSU, like a Corsair one. And a new SSD, like a crucial / samsung one.

I highly doubt the 7970M or 680M offer twice the performance of a 675M
