best cooler for around the £40 mark

what is the best air cooler for around £40. i will most probably me using a Phenom 2 965 or 1055t overclocked to about 4ghz.

I was going to go for a cheapy £20 cooler, I met Tom at i40 and he told me about the NH-D14, saw the results there.

I then bought it, set it up, then set it up properly, and it is so damn good.

Really am glad I went with the advice Tom gave me, wish that I went on his advice about the Xigmatek case though

Also wish I stayed with a modular PSU, but hey ho

i know what you mean i just cant understand why there just isnt ONE connector that plugs into the motherboard and the just one other connector witch is universal with all other pc components. or that the power is sent through a hidden cable with the motherboard power connector hard wired onto the motherboard tray. and have the power connector on the underside of the motherboard. and the just have one universal connector for all other components!

im sure that it could be done

Recent test in Custom PC deciphered that the TT Frio was the best of the bunch. Apparently even better than the Megahalems*

The Cogage Arrow did quite well too. Not as well as the Frio but it's far quieter.

* Testing circumstances vary obviously.
