hey guys.. looking at new cases cuz ima pimp me a watercooling setup i think.. i need a lan-friendly case tho, but i still want a double rad/heatercore setup.... any suggestions other than cut the fuck out of my lian-li?

Pretty much any small case can be modded to fit a nice dual rad setup, it really all boils down to how much custom modding u wish to do to the case...

U have a PC-65 right? I'd probably stick with that and mod it accordingly.

one problem.. i have no tools/1337 skillz :( i think im gonna use the lian-li as a backup for a secondary rig if i find a better case. thanks for the suggestion :)

the best case for water is a TT armor or kandalf.. bet its sure as hell not a lan case (its 30 lbs empty) check around, your likely to find something

With watercooling the case is going to get really heavy regardless mate.

I also don't think that case will work. Look's quite cluttered and riddled with useless crap. :o

Especailly that ghetto-ly rigged in fan system across the lower part of it.

what other than the fan system (which wouldnt be such a bad thing) do you find ghetto?

maybe this one instead and buy a 7 series window?

hey this case is great it has water cooling support and is light weight.

http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=810 ------- Gigabyte 3D Auroura Case

i know that Gigabyte doesn't sound like a great case entusiasth manufectruer but still the loooks pretty damn cool and has alot o gr8 features such as 3x120mm ready fans, tool-less design and also the unique projection name is the bomb(check out the review to see what i mean).

the link i gave is for a review the case isn't on sale yet but it will be soon so i think you should wait for it's release cos it looks damn good. i found it on Pre-Order here for £88.07.

I would get the stacker. Whatever case you get would weigh a ton with w/c so the stacker would be good as it has wheels included with it :D

The stacker is a steel case right? That thing is HUUUUUGE, u'd need a hand truck to get it in and out of ur friends houses for lan parties, lol.

I agree really...BUT - any case with w/c would be very heavy and at least wityh wheels you can wheel it atround....although Lian Li's do come with wheels too..

LANPARTY=Antec LANBOY!! - they really are portable :D

LOL I didn't realise it was 2005! I thought it was July 2007. Actually helped me cuz I've never heard of these LANBOYs but seem pretty cool and I may need one to bring my PC back and forth from Uni :)

So, the mother of all thread revivals wasn't such a bad thing for once ;)

NickS - How long have you been running you memory at those speeds? What about the voltage, is it okay?

My Wintec's? About a month :). I have an OCZ XTC fan over them so they stay pretty cool, too.
