Hi folks.

4 days ago I recieved a bday gift (PoV GTX570 TGT UC).

The v-card is fine and I want to used it for increase my f@h ppd with my gtx460.

The problem:

Both v-card temps are too high when folding.

Gtx570 reached 93ºC and gtx460 reached 79ºC.

I had to remove the side panel of the case, and put a fan on a chair pointing at the rig to keep decent temps.

I would like to buy a new case to keep the system very cool, specially both v-cards without remove the side panel.

So, I need sugestions.

My budget is around 120 US$ (160 max).

I know that best cases are full tower size but I'll be great if I find a mid tower one which would meet my needs.

Thanks in advanced

I have the CM690 II. Does the job.

Are you increasing the fan speed when they are folding? I set my fan speed to around 83% while folding. Keeps my 470's at 71 and 56.

You could put a fan at the back of the GPU's aka the outside so it sucks hot air out of it,

someopne has a thread about it , let me find it for you

BTW my 2x GTX470 at 45% still 65/70c

MSI Frzr....

I modified the temp curve with after burner.

But it didn't work no matter if side panel is mounted or not.

To keep them cool while folding had to have that fan on the chair blowing air directly at the pc.

Keep in mind that I live in a tropical country where 4 seasons are rain or not is always hot, and don't have air conditioner in my room.

The Raven is supposed to be good for airflow and cooling. And hmmblah's suggestion is also a goodun if you want to keep the cost down as much as possible.

I have the Phantom, and its cooling abiliy is great. The HAF 932 or X are great too. I've also seen that Raven case and it looks amazing in white.

In the end its down to the looks you want as all these cases rock. Even an old Antec 900 will do the job, although the cable management isn't that great.
