Best bang for buck headset

Currently looking for a nice headset around the $100AUD mark, to which i currently have the corsair 1500 and the sennheiser u320 (its on promotional sale atm so $90 cheaper)
Any suggestions?
It would be a bonus if the mic functioned for my ps3 also. (dont kill me its just gran turismo k?)
cheers

Corsair 1500 V2 is a solid choice, well happy with mine. And it works as a voice headset and mic on PS3, but not game audio - but it does work for game audio as well on the PS4 in case of future upgrades.

I do like the aestetic appearance of the corsair better, but quality of the components matters too
i say this because the senheiser base price is nearly double...

I bought a pair of Audio Technica ATH AD-700 for around that price and they sound lovely. Open backs, a bit large, but no complaints with the sound. Very comfortable and light on the head.

Seinheiser > Corsair for headsets any day.
That really is stating the obvious but the price on seinheiser is a massive jump, and from what i see they mostly dont have mics since theyre only intended for listening.
Would love if your replies were more constructive rather than stating some short obvious fact and leaving questions up in the air.
For example you could have suggested a similar priced example, or you could do like you have in almost all the replies you've done towards me and make more questions than answers.
Other people in the thread have actually mentioned products and gave their opinion on it, which is actually helpful.

edit- Apologies for the necro in advance.

Actually Sennheiser offers as many different headsets (headset always includes a mic) as corsair, if you only count the gamercentric offerings, in a wide price range.

For a little bit more these are my preference. Kingston Hyper X Cloud Gaming Headset. You're based in Byron Bay so I don't really know any sellers around you. So yeah PCCG it is lol.

I might recommend getting a headphones and a separate mic or a Mod Mic, the clip onto the side of headphones and means you can get some high quality headphones. You can look up the mod mic it costs around £40 which leaves money for you to get a some headphones. It just clips easy on to the side of any headphones and far better than any normal mic on a headset. Then you also have headphones if you do not need a microphone. :)

The best bang for buck headset from what i've read in a lot of places is the kingston hypercloud X gaming headset. I currently use Steelseries siberia V2's which I like and if I had my perfect scenario I would get a pair of sennheisers or similar with an antlion modmic. Hope this helps over a few options

Really like the look of the HyperX Cloud headset, detachable mic is a decent plus. does anyone know if you can juggle mics around on it? mic connects by 3.5mm pin so i suppose its possible

I'd recommend the Corsair Vengeance 2100 wireless headset. I do not own it no, but i have seen countless good reviews of it with the only problem being with a screech in the ear to certain owners - but corsair has taken these headsets back.

***Edit*** Sorry, just noticed its $150 on Amazon.
