Best 5.1 Headphones

i have looked on the market for a high quality 5.1 headset as i prefer surround for gaming and always use a headset because it does not interfere with my microphone was wondering what the best set is on the market i have already tried the Medusa 5.1 which where very good but lost sound quality over time and the razor barracuda which has a great sound quality but are poorly constructed and already have a loose connection after purchase. Im a big fan of film and gaming so am willing to spend to get the best quality available.

Hi I'm new here and apologise for digging up such an old post but can't fine any really up to date ones on this topic. I'm in the market for a 5.1 head set mainly for games "CS:S" to be exact. can someone please point me in the right direction for the best set to get for no more than £40?

Get a set of them.

The sound quality isn't top top but its pretty good and the surround is effective in games (once you've trained your ears for it)

Mine and others have mostly broke within 3 months of normal use...watch the wire connections...the easily snappable ear phone connectors...the virbation that works for a month then dies..oh yeh and suddenly ur sound will go to poop.

I have never had 5.1 headphones, my Sennhesier ones do me fine and sound great. If I want a good gaming expierence I just use my Logitech Z-5500's

well i have some hd-555 whitch are sterio but with a x-fi sound card and cmss-3d enabled i think that they sound 100% better than any 5.1 headsets i have tryed and they are very comfortable

and i think mrapoc will vote the same
