Hi All,

Please could someone advise on the best 27" LED monitor on the market atm?

What about the Samsung S27A350H?

Thanks

IPS monitors are the best for high quality colour reproduction and have very good viewing angles. They are also not that bad for gaming as I primarily use my IPS monitor to play BF3 and have not had any issues with input lag or ghosting.

There is a hazro 27 inch IPS monitor, which is very good for the price and you could always buy the Dell 27" IPS monitor if money is not a problem. W

The best 27" monitor would be the one that has all the features you want/need.

I'm looking for a brilliant HD gaming monitor

Do you meant the HN274H?

If so, I wouldn't personally buy it as it's only 1080p. Imo a 27" monitor should have a 2560 x 1440 resolution at least. But it depends on how far away from the monitor you will be sitting. If you will be pretty close to it, then 1080p seems to be inadequate with a screen that large. The best thing to do would be to physically look at some 27" monitors with different resolutions to get an idea of the screen quality/sharpness and go from there.

I have the Samsung S27A850, and I love it, the best monitor I ever had and have! The colors and quality is so nice... But it's expensive, I don't regret it

yes excellent, but you need alot of horsepower.. like I have 2 570's and on BF3 I get 60-70 FPS.. on high settings. so it's recommed that you go with multiple gpu's

More than enough for wow, but for other intense games the best bet would be to just drop down the resolution to e.g. 1920x1200 which would ease off the gpu load.

I agree. Samsung is probably THE best brand out there.

I personally have the Asus VG278H and love the crap out of it. If it werent for the sub par color accuracy, I would say its the best choice for a 27".

It really depends on if you want a PLS or TN, what resolution, features (response time, 3D etc).

Can't go wrong with a Samsung. Unless you want 3D. TriDef sucks.

I have one of these Samsung 1440p monitors on order myself.

Should a single 7970 be sufficient, or would I need multiple GPUs there too?

I'll likely be getting either a 7970 or a GTX 680, depending on which is better value.

Probably a 7970, due to the colour scheme and availability of aftermarket boards.
