I've been considering replacing my current monitor for a while now, and since I'm replacing it because I want to (instead of because my old one died) I've been taking the time to look around properly. Everywhere I look I seem to be getting outstanding reviews of the BenQ VW2420H, with only a couple of negative comments coming from obvious trolls, and consistent reviews from reviewers, customers and shops alike. It seems like a market breaker at the price it's at, and the more I read around, the more I come back to it.
The real annoyance I seem to be seeing consistently is it has a poorly adjustable stand. 15 to -5 degrees tilt with no height adjustment seems quite weak. Unfortunately I am not that up to date on standards for monitor mounts, stands or bases so I do not recognise the attachment method.
Does anyone here know if it is possible to replace the stand for this monitor with something better? If so I'd love to know what options I have.
