Hi everyone
smile.gif
i have a 970 with a asus re3 i am struggling to get over 188 bclk with x10 mem im at 1.35v qpi and am getting random bsod uncorrectable hardware error.....any ideas?

would be really grateful of any help anyone could offer.

With the same setup but with my 920 i could get 209 bclk with x10 mem.

Whenever this used to happen it would just need 1 more bump of qpi v and that would cure it.

when the room gets hot it bsod @ 188 bclk

Thanks

Yeah put the QPI up lol.

up to 1.55v can be needed for 2000mhz at 200BCLK remember to manually set the UCLK to twice the mem speed too.

What ram are you using btw cos all the volts are set low?

I thought gulftown cpu had to be 1.5 times the mem speed, I wonder if that is what caused me headache. do you think i could get a little more bclock by changing it to 2x the mem

Thanks for the quick reply mate the ram is 6gb 3x2gb G.skill Trident F3-16000CL9T-6GBTDD previously had these running @ 2090mhz with my old 920 never seemed to need to much memory voltage to get them to run @ 2000mhz not much over 1.6v.

did try more qpi v before may be it needed much more than i thought.

Cheers again i will start trying to pushing onwards and upwards again now

.

With low mem multi didn't have any trouble getting it to around 4.8 ghz on the cpu think i was @ 1.5v cpu , soon as i get it to 200 bclk or over with x10 mem and possibly x24 cpu

should be like lightning!
