I read that Battlefield 4 beta is coming soon, and the game will be launched in about April next year, really excited
PS4 and XBOX 720 are coming out next year too so BF4 might be launched for the new platforms, I'm sticking with PC

Meh, they are doing what ruined the COD franchise, releasing a "new" game every year little different to the last. Re-skinned models and some different maps but the exact same game underneath is what im imagining. Mabey im being a bit cynical but this is what ive come to expect from EA and Activison.

I know what you mean... they should take their time and come up with something really good.
Black Ops 2 seams promising though.
TBH the best game I ever played in my life is Metal Gear Solid 4, that company takes like 4 years to release new game. Hopefully they start making multiplayer FPS.

The Beta isn't until Q4 next year and the full release will probably be a couple weeks after that the same as with BF3.

I'm looking forward to it, people moan too much bout BF3. It's not perfect and neither are EA/DICE but BF3 is still the best multiplayer FPS and BF4 can only be better, the next best alternative is CoD, which one would you rather play?

As for the yearly releases, it's not, I don't understand why people think this. It's a two year release cycle, BF games have been released within two years of each other since they started. In fact, there will be a bigger gap between BF3 and BF4 than there was between BFBC2 and BF3.

TBH though if it wasn't the same game underneath it wouldn't be Battlefield anymore. As for the next gen consoles coming out next year, I doubt it.

Im talking about COD when I say yearly releases. EA arent nearly as bad as Activision but it feels like they are heading that way is all. I dont have a problem with BF3, I think its pretty good. The intermediate BF games between 2 and 3 I saw more as spin offs, which is fine. They catered to different people's interests but if BF4 is meant to be more of a sequal then it seems quick to be heading into beta next year. In my opinion a proper sequal has to have some major differences to the others or its just an expansion/spin off.

So it's similar to infinityward and treyarch, they alternate to spend 2 years on each game!

the last expansion will be released in march 2013, so bf4 will be released in the end of 2013 or early 2014. Looking forward to it tho ^^

I'm starting uni soon so my BF3 playtime will drop considerably. Looking forward to the next one though
