Battlefield 3 PEXON and Yass/ OC3D Clan Server

[PEXON]

Right, me and Yass are going to be setting up a 24 man Battlefield 3 server. We are open to suggestions for map cycles, tickets, bans on weapons e.g. no M320, M26 etc. This will run alongside the Mumble server I run so we can exclusively use that for OC3D members who wish to play on the server. It will be run by Multiplay with the server location in London. If there is enough interest and people are willing to contribute we will contemplate upping it to 32/38 players.

This is cool Pex. I'm definetly interested in playing on that server if there is many more members joining. I just need my rig to be finnished first and then im ready for some massive gaming.

As for ideas. I like servers which cycle between rush and conquest since these are the 2 most popular and it keeps things changing up. Not a huge fan of no grenade launchers on infantry or RPG on infantry tbh. the way i see it those weapons are there to be used so quit whining if you get blown up

No M320/RPG is usally on Metroll servers.

TBH everything should be fair game(but at the end of the day you guys are paying,so you make the rules)

Yeh, but this Platoon is dedicated to the server me and pex are payin' for.

Just setup mumble and i have to say i prefer TS to mumble, dunno why other than TS has a ton more stuff to adjust/tweak?

Also no RUSH on caspian please... EVER, on non full 32+ player servers its pretty bad aswell for conquest, just 30 mins of running around shooting AA at jets.

I've not used TS personally so I can't compare the two, but I've had nothing but good experiences with mumble

I dont like TS and I have a mumble server already, so there is no need to change. Mumble is no nonsense, easy UI,easy admin tools and superior voicequality.

Let me know what maps you want. I will update OP as and when. I know so far we wan't Firestorm (Rush and Conquest) and Metro Rush conquest. I will have up to 10 maps in the cycle (random), so we need 6 more suggestion, including 3 B2K maps (no TDM).

Im not complaining about it being mumble i was just saying i prefer the window/extra settings on TS

and ive never noticed a quality difference.

Yeh no point in changing it to TS and yep mumble is very user friendly

conquest on metro? EUGHH, thats the most BS combination ever. who ever spawns at the last rush point side has lost 75%+ of the time cause of how easy it is to trap them outside the double door section. rush is good but CQ is eugh imo.
